Effective December 18, 2023 the US Department of State has updated the processing time. Routine Service is taking 6-8 weeks and Expedite Services is taking 2-3 weeks.
We are located next to the Pan American Center at 1780 East University Ave in the Educational Services Building, Room 8, on the NMSU Las Cruces campus. Free parking and visitor permits are available for passport customers. Go to visitor parking information to learn more.

- All forms must be filled out prior to arriving and we request copies be made in advance (one copy of citizenship, and the front and back of ID). The necessary forms and required documents can be found at travel.state.gov. Please check your application for errors, as corrections are not allowed. Our office charges $1 per page for copies/print outs.
- Passport Processing Times have been updated to 6-8 weeks for routine and 2-3 weeks for expedited. Please see the Department of State webpage for more information. (Processing time begins when the Passport agency or center receives your application, not when it is accepted by the acceptance agent.)
