The event will provide options for professional wear fashion as students plan for interviews, networking with employers, attending career fairs, and other career-related events offered throughout the academic year. In partnership with NMSU Career Closet, students don’t have to break the bank to obtain professional clothing.

Student Panel, Career Fairs-101:
September 12th, 2024, 2:30 pm
Join us and your fellow students for a student panel taking place on September 12th at 2:30 pm in Aggie Lounge. The student panel will give you their input on how to navigate Career Fairs. Then make sure you stick around for our Dress to Impress: Career Edition Fashion Show starting at 4:00 pm.
Meet The Employers-Career Expo Mix & Mingle Event:
September 16th, 2024, 4 pm
Aggie Lounge, 1st Floor, Corbett Center Student Union
The Office of Experiential Learning will host a Meet and Greet for Employers and Students in preparation for the 2024 Career Expo on Monday, September 16th from 4:00pm-6:30pm in the Aggie Lounge, (1st floor of the NMSU Corbett Center Student Union). This will be a more informal setting from the fair but will allow students and employers to interact and network prior to the fair.

Career Expo:
September 17th, 2024, 9 am - 2 pm
Corbett Center, 3rd Floor Ballrooms
Career Expo is open to interested students of all majors at all NMSU campuses, community members and guests on September 17th. The Engineering, Science and Technology Fair will take place on September 18th for STEM related employers as part of Career Expo, however all majors are invited to attend both days.
ALL STUDENTS - professional/business attire and resumes are highly recommended
Review your Handshake account for information about employer information sessions and interview schedules. Many employers will select candidates for interviews following the career fair.
Learn about current employment opportunities including full-time employment, Cooperative Education, internship, and summer employment positions. Discuss career plans and discover skills required from academics and other experiences which will enhance your selection for future opportunities. All students are encouraged to cultivate professional relationships now for future success.
